Royce's lyrics^^^

Jay & Em's lyrics.

I think that despite Eminem coming incredibly hard, I enjoy Jay's verses a little more, he has that swagger in his flow so everything he says you feel. I acually believe Jay's message was stronger than Eminem's too.

Case in point;

"ay that I'm foolish I only talk about jewels (bling bling)
Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?"

These are some of my all-time favorite Jay-Z lines, partially because I've long felt the same way and same frustration about his music. It's clear what he's saying here: "Don't judge my music unless you really understand it".

This is a classic song, no doubting that(both versions). All of them bounce of each other perfectly. What are your thoughts? Don't turn this into an Eminem or Jay-Z hate thread, who was lyrically more impressive? Who had a better flow?

Discuss.
