I don't think Wu sold out, I think it's just the fucked up deals they signed. Face it, your not going to get past the majority of these labels nowadays with that true official Wu shit. Ghost and Meth both signed to Def Jame at good times, but it quickly turned into bad times, but now Def Jam (maybe, we will soon see) is back to good times with Jay Z being president who will most likely give Meth and Ghost the proper respect and push they need. You can't put everything on the Wu, the label has the final say and unfortunately that hip-hop is not going to get by easy like in the old days. Too many labels are concerned with a hit instead of a classic album.

i think when forever hit us in 97 wu thought they where untouchable (which they probably where in the short run) but over the next few years the missed concerts, outbursts on stage aimed at radio stations, and all the other daft shit caught up with them in the long run and that is why we dont have the wu tang that should be still the number one rap group in the game
