I disagree. He needs to release that track as the next single. It is far from soft. It has a good message and the chick sings her ass off. i remember reading in an interview with ghost or something where he said def jam wanted to include momma so that it could be another single (not necessarily the next one). that makes sense, cause then they could cross promote megan whatever her name is. that's the safest way for def jam to make money...
but i think ghost should have more input as to what gets released next. he said on 106 and park that his favorite cut from the album at that time was whip you with a strap. that could be a dope video with like some flashbacks and shit, a proper tribute to jay dee and maybe odb... and it sounds different enough to make it stand out. plus i think it's a much better momma's day track than 'momma,' which is kinda depressing and sappy, and very very "been there done that," agreed?
