Common is real, he keeps it that way and is probably the most honest emcee out there and spits REAL hip hop. Is he best LYRICALLY? I dunno. Just because Common (probably the REALEST) don't make him the most lyrical. Papoose defintitly got Common and that's off the top of my head. I mean, lyricisim to me is metaphors and flipping over a story. Common tell some of the best stories in rap, but artists like Gza and Papoose can still shit on his LYRICS. Common definitly get my respect and always has. Common is mad intelligent from what I hear off wax and has MUCH sense even more to me than most rappers you'd think of. Props for even starting this thread, Common definitly need to get this type of respect.
