Its hard to consistently produce dope tracks. The Wu has been doing it longer than anyone ever in Hip Hop. For the record, they are still doing it! I have a feeling if the Wu did move more into the background, they would be called out to help, as in previous years.

I don't think it's ruined. I don't really count all the garbage they have released. I just listen to the stuff that consider classics. I'm still bumping their albums for over 10 years now. If that's not timeless music I don't know what is.
The average Wu fan from 93-94 doesn't even know they are dropping all this garbage so as far as they're concered they think Wu retired long ago.
I love the old era the most it was fucking gorgeous. However the new era of Wu related stuff is better than anything else out there and some of it is almost on level with the older stuff. I think the older stuff impacted me more cause I had never heard anything like that before and I grew up on it. So now something has to be really really tight for me to compare it to the older wu sound. However all in all I think they doing a very good job except for methodman who i think has falling of so fucking far i couldnt give a fuck about his new album
i think you being hard on meth he's having a tuff time right now it's almost like he's being pulled from to different sides it's hard to please the world but he tries his best, he is under alot of pressure from def jam to make the top ten & to keep his underground fans happy i think he's doing alright i'll buy his cd & i hope you will too so that we can see him make another cd
