    1. Intro (Blackball Me)
    2. Madness
    3. My Hood (ft. Amber Alexis)
    4. Horsemen Talk (ft. The Four Horsemen)
    5. Come With Me (ft. George Clinton)
    6. Royal Priesthood
    7. Crime Stories (Interlude)
    8. Witness The King
    9. Heat Of The Moment
    10. C U When I Get There (ft. Ty-N)
    11. The One (ft. George Clinton)
    12. Thug Revelations (ft. Maccabees)
    13. My Life
    14. Places Where Pharoahs Go (Interlude)
    15. The Law (ft. Luminati)
    16. Theme Song

This album is my personal clasic (9,5/10) and second best LP by Killah Priest (Heavy Mental is 10/10). I think Priesthood is one of the most underrated albums ever. It includes classic songs like Heat Of The Moment, My Hood, My Life, Theme Song, Horsemen Talk, The Law or Come With Me. Lyrics are amazing and beats are fire too. I can't find a one, really weak song on this.

Wow, thanks for that. If you weren't sure someone was going to profit from it, well I am.

Here in Quebec City, they don't keep much of Killah Priest's albums. I don't know why, he's one of my favorites!

I have Heavy Mental, View from Masada, and then I thought Black August was the following one. But they had it for a while and my hesitation made me miss it, since the next time I went to buy it, it was gone and it never came back.

But that Priesthood shit, I've never heard of. I just had to go through Amazon to buy the Black Market Militia album, and I don't regret not one bit.

So, thanks again. I'll try to find it on Amazon too.

NO doubt about it, Priest is one of the deepest rappers in the game to speak of, every album is worth the purchase, and I really loved the Black Market Militia album, real heavy shit!

    Nobody Has this album?

    1. Intro (Blackball Me)
This is a track within the intro, Priest has his altered ego on this one right here, he flows on this track nicely, striking back at the industy on this one, he sounds more serious than he did on View From Masada and this album has more in store, a nice opener, Priest speaks the truth on here. 4.5/5

    2. Madness
The title describes the song perfectly, Priest just goes in on here giving us what we missed hearing on his last album, beat is just right and Priest grabs the torch and does his things, Lyrics are strong on this solid track. 3.5/5

    3. My Hood
I'm feeling this one right here, Priest takes you through a hood journey on this one, telling you stories and everything. Priest is definitely back on here, the hook is nice on here and goes well with this beat. One of my favorites on here. 4.5/5

    4. Horsemen Talk (Feat. Horsemen)
I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting way better, not saying this wasn't good but I was expecting explosive shit. Priest rips this shit with no problem, this album is already better than his last effort. Kurupt comes in and rips this shit with his rugged style, Rass Kass killed this shit on here, he delivers some nice lines on this one, Canibus was ok on here nothing too special about his verse on here. Beat was just right and they went in on here. 4/5

    5. Come With Me (Feat. George Clinton)
This is a cool track right here, Priest spits his visions and dreams on here, Priest Fans know what I mean by that, I'm not feeling the hook on this one though, not bad though. 3.5/5

    6. Royal Priesthood
I feel like i'm bout to go to a King's ceremony when I hear this beat for some reason. Priest is going in on here I like the second verse on this one alot..
When will they profit? The game is where I loose my soul
How many options did I have before I choose this roll?
Let's see, what did spark it? Fuck school and hoes
Live in the projects, never rocked the newest clothes
It's psychologic, somehow it seems foolish though
From my pockets, only love for jewels and dough
Catastrophic, the walls came closing in
On all sides, the pressure expose the gem
A war cry was the breath I was holding in
A poor scribe dopest as the golden pen
Called wise, blessed among the chosen men
The lost tribe, my words were woven in
Each line like words I was sewing with
I sit divine, my palm hold the globe with a grip
Flows I spit, shows I rip, that's showmanship
Tell the maid from the robes I fit
A blackness covered the moon from a lunar eclipse
A passage leads to a tomb beneath the sands of Egypt
Candles are lit, and the keys to the pianos are hit
There's the phantom, the mummy stands at the cliff
    Aztec Indians studying my sanscript
Puffing peace pipes, Priest gets deep when he writes
Bars are mystic, written like Horror-glyphics
I made it hard for critics to follow my lyrics
    Come on!
A nice track right here, Priest shows he can flow. 4/5

    7. Crime Stories (Interlude)

    8. Witness The King
A nice track right here, nothing really to say about it but that Priest
    deliversas usual so no complaints.
    4/5

    9. Heat of the Moment
This is a cool track, the first verse is funny, I can imagine Priest getting smacked over the head. This is some laid back shit, it's nice though.
    4/5

    10. C U When I Get There
A nice track dedicated to Priest's niggaz. This is a nice laid back track just makes you wanna think about shit. Priest goes in here for real...
    3.5/5

    11. The One (Featuring George Clinton)
This is a cool track, got them funk sounds to it, George Clinton is on it and you know how he gets down on tracks. Killah Priest goes in on his lyrics, some biblical shit, Priest be everywhere. 3.5/5

    12. Thug Revelations (Featuring Maccabeez)
Beat is nice on this one, Daddy Rose is cool on here and Salahudin comes correct on this joint, a nice collaboration for the album. Killah Priest just is the icing on the cake with his appearance. This is a banger. 4/5

    13. My Life
Another cool joint right here, Priest just going back on here spitting real shit. One of my favorite lines on this one is " I try to kep going to church, but it seems like the pastor is holding his verse, till my moms go in her purse" some real shit right there, I stopped going myself awhile back. 4/5

    14. Places Where Pharoahs Go
This was cool but it's not touching Heavy Mental.....

    15. The Law
This is a nice track, Priest has some ill lines "Call St.Valentine cause when I kill'em it's love" this is a highlight song on the album, It took sometime to grow on me, but Priest is nice on here giving you that raw shit on this one. 4.5/5

    16. Theme Song
A nice outro to the album, I feel like I'm in church on this one for some reason. Beat is nice and smooth right here and Priest rides with it, I'm feeling this second verse alot..

When King Tut closed his eyes, I opened up mine
Felt the pulse in my spine, I choked and I whined
I was sent here by God to bring hope to my kind
First words was a note I spoke in a rhyme
My album'll touch you like the death of Malcom
Comes in CDs, cassettes, internet, and volumes
I was raised by a certain column on my info
I know the CIA got 'em, they want me to stay at the bottom
But I rise to the top, why not? my glock, spies watch
But they can't do me nothing, because we kings
This my theme song, and this is how I sing
    Theme song

    3.5/5

    17. Still Got Luv 4 Ya
Just a bonus track, nothing too special about it, it kind of sounds like "My Hood". It's ok. 3.5/5

    Beats - 3/5
    Lyrics - 4/5
    Overall - 3.5/5

This is a good comeback from his last release. Priest definitely spits some spiritual shit on this one bringing back the style we missed on the last album along with some new additions. Beats are just right for this album, it has a nice theme to it, good album for when you just chillin. And some beats are just dry as shit which kills this album too.****Overall 3.5/5***

Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

this album is extremely deep but it's so dope because it so spiritual and has allot of similar vibe between his recent stuff such as The Offering & Behind the Stained Glass

Never really felt this album. If you ever wanted a demonstration of how taste varies though, I think that every single album that has ever had a poll on this site gets at least 1 vote for 'classic'.
