This album was decent. It could've been better. I like Fuck Somebody Else skit where Foxy Brown is fucking some dude. She asks the dude does he eat pussy and he said i don't be doing that shit hahahahahahahahaha. She said well i'll play with my pussy then LOL. She's moaning while she's fingering herself LOL. I wish i could fuck Foxy Brown. I've always had a thing for her because her body is hot. She isn't that cute but her body is banging. It's messed up that she's deaf. I hope she's able to regain her hearing again. Firm Biz and Phone Tap are my favorite songs on the album. Nature has been a big disappointment. I didn't like his albums For All Seasons and Wild Gremlinz. I wish Cormega would've been on this album instead of Nature.

yeah!! Don't you also think that cormega is the perfect "organized crime"-type haha.. His verse on La Famila & Affirmative Action was just perfect for the whole style that the firm album should have had.. But it was a ok album.. but it shouldn't have had any appereances IMO..

Yeah Cormega's rhymes is better than Nature's rhymes. I also think Cormega compliments Nas and AZ's style. If Cormega would've been on this album, he would've had good chemistry with Nas and AZ.

the hype effectively crushed this album when it was released, cos it was too good to be true so it got shitted on
but its dope, not quite a classic, but this is among the best work of all 4 emcees

Ive ALWAYS been curious how this site rated this album, AND how it would have been if cormega was on it rather than nature. I remember me and my best friend copped this that summer, and played it track by track the whole way to the mall and back, AND WERE IN AWE.

    1. Intro

    2. Firm Fiasco (produced by Dr. Dre) OH my lord, This beat was insane, And AZ proved how nice he was.

    3. Phone Tap Intro
    4. Phone Tap (feat. and produced by Dr. Dre) Probrably one of Hip hops most unique videos and tracks. Classic Dre beat.

    5. Executive Decision (produced by Curt Gowdy) This beat was orgasmic to the ears. Lyrically the 2nd best of the album

    6. Firm Family (feat. and produced by Dr. Dre) This should have been a single. Oddly enough

    7. Firm All Stars (feat. Pretty Boy, produced by Trackmasters) Amazing track.

    8. Fuck Somebody Else (Intro)
    9. Fuck Somebody Else (produced by Dr. Dre) Well Foxy is....Foxy. And the beat was passable

    10. Hardcore (produced by Trackmasters) Nice idea for a song, beat was nice, but lyrically could have been better

    11. Untouchable (feat. Wizard, produced by Dr. Dre) Wizard wasnt that bad, The beat was fire

    12. Five Minutes to Flush Intro
    13. Five Minutes to Flush (produced by Dr. Dre)Nature proving that he deserved his spot here. And the hook was nuts.

    14. Desperados (Intro)
    15. Desperados (feat. Canibus, produced by Curt Gowdy) WOW. This is why canibus NEEDS to be heard on GOOD beats.

    16. Firm Biz (feat. Dawn Robinson, produced by L.E.S.) Commercial track and the weakest of the album

    17. Im Leaving (feat. Noreaga, produced by Trackmasters) Wow, I can remember playing this track like 20 times the day I bought it

    18. Throw Your Guns (feat. Half-a-Mil, produced by Trackmasters) Great ender

I give it a 8 out of ten for MANY reasons.

i probably have to revisit this soon cuz it's been a long while since last, from what i remember i would rate it about 7/10.. Nas was waaaay below his level on this, sounded very uninspired on most joints he appeared on. Canibus had a murder verse on "Desperados" and some of the beats were fucking slamming ("Phone Tap", "Desperados", "Firm Fiasco", "Executive Desicsions") and some were weak ("Fuck Somebody Else", "Firm All Stars").. that's about what i remember about this joint, as already said Cormega should have been on this and Nas, AZ, Cormega should have gotten full creative control.

Great album. The First few times I heard this I didn't like it. This is an album you need to LISTEN to, not hear. There was a few filler (and too much skits), but only one or two skips.

Top 5: Firm Fiasco, Phone Tap, Executive Decision, Desperados, Firm Biz

    Grade: (3.7/5) B+

one of my favorite albums ever, it caught alot of unnecessary hate and still does. album bangs from start to end, i do wish there were more nas verses tho.
