Playing this again now, what a brilliant album. Technically superior to the infamous yet somehow less memorable. Probably due to the surprise factor of it being their first real album. Apostles Warning may be Prodigy at his absolute best. Beats more sinister than the Infamous. I love this album. I have played it out so much that I had to get a new one.

A good album but not on par with the Infamous. Lyrically they were at their finest there (especially Prodigy, damn this dude could rhyme... and damn he fell off, almost unbelievable). Some of the lyrics are so complex I actually had to go read them. I think most wannabe hip-hop fanatics would find them impossible to understand.

But the beats were disrupting me... Some of them were sounding like OB4CL throwaways, and some of them were making me cover my head and cry, not to go out and score some kills, like The Infamous. So I gave it 8/10, although most precise grade would be 8.5/10.

Best track: G.O.D.Father Pt. III, unbelievable lyrics and unbelievable beat.
"The Devil is not the Prince of Matter; the Devil is the arrogance of the spirit, faith without smile, truth that is never seized by doubt. The Devil is grim because he knows where he is going, and, in moving, he always returns whence he came."

    I give it a 8/10

Prodigy on the last verse of Hell And Earth and also him on Shill Shinin' are definetely top 3 for me in verses of all time (with his verses on Gusto with A+ being number 1 to me).

Overall, the album was very cohesive from beginning to end. The only that I wished was that Pac didn't die so we could have heard the other 2-3 tracks that were suppose to be on the album but were scraped and DESTROYED once he died. I remember when Pac died they had Havoc on channel 9 news in NY and he stated that they destoryed all the songs dissin' Pac instead of Drop A Gem on Em because that already had dropped before he died.

Anyways, tracks like Godfather III, Nighttime Vultures, Animal Instinct, Extortion, Can't get Enough, etc. this is a solid album. Not has good as the Infamous, but definetely they're 2nd best album with Murda Muzik in 3rd.
