I gave it a 9 only because The Infamous is so much better.

But this is still a classic (10/10)

I gave it a 9/10. Fucking love this album. Their best album imo, although 'The Infamous' and 'Murda Muzik' are sharp as fuck too.

I like this better than Infamous. There are no individual songs that stand out as classics like "Survival of the Fittest" or "Shook Ones", but from start to finish the album as a whole is superior imo. Prodigy is at his ultimate peak on this album like Tyson vs Spinks in 88, and Hav destroys every track. I close my eyes and still see myself on the bus and walking home from school bumping this in the walkman. I miss 96

More Trife Life.. Extortion.. Bloodsport.. Give It Up Fast.. definitly a CLASSIC album right here. Hell on Earth is one of the tracks that have stuck with me over the year and I still bump for motivation when shit gets hard.

Best Mobb Deep Album. Guest Apperances Shut it down. Havoc Shuts it down. Prodigy shuts it down. Crazy album. Better than Infamous.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
