i would definitely have to go with GOODFELLAS.
i recently saw casino,and i still havent seen the ending.
and i dont care if i ever see it.
not that its a bad movie but it just doesnt keep my attention as long as goodfellas did.

Scorsese is one of my fav. directors of all time, and De Niro is one of my fav. actors of all time...
Goodfellas & Casino are both based on true events and both about the mob..its really hard to say what is better because youre comparing 2 true stories, so it just depends which story you liked more.
i cant really say i can pick one over the other, its just too hard.. everything about those 2 flicks were top notch.
let me ask you this, who was more badass ? Tommy from Goodfellas or Nicky from Casino ? LOL.. peace.

casino was shit compared to the true story of goodfellas
casino's real life events were based on stuff from goodfellas real life shit that they couldnt put in the movie and the event were very exagerated, iuf you liked both the movies you should read the book goodfellas its way better

yeah its easier to relate to straight mob shit that went on in NY on Goodfellas, but casino showed you the casino business tip. you learn to respect that side of business and the level of involvement the mob had.. vegas was practically started by a mob nigga, Bugsy to be precise. and in Casino, De Niro plays a Jew and pulled it off like no other. and sharon stone's gold digger coked up role was very slept on, possibly her best performance to date. not to mention the supporting dopeness of James Woods playing Stone's ex husband and Pesci wildin out crossin every line til he got whacked with his bro buried alive was fuckin powerful. peace.

thats a small point where its just too obvious to point out.. of course its about ppl with power and ego and of course its a hollywood version. the fact u need to give credit is that scorsese who is an italian chose to show it to the masses in a level where ppl can relate and did it so effectively. hes representing the art of filmaking and skoolin you on american history and the mafia era where italians played a big part. try lookin at the big picture instead of focusing on the surface. peace.
neither movie had anything to do with al capone
goodfellas showed you sort of the perks of the power and the lifestyle but then showed you the flip side when things fall to shit which was done very powerful, i go goodfellas but only by a pubic hair cos casino was great too

Goodfellas by far, I hated Casino I don't know why, it just felt like Goodfellas Part 2 to me. But Goodfellas is one of my Top 10, so many quotables, just a overall great film.

Goodfellas is better, but Casino is a sick movie, hey cap you have to see the ending of Casino, it is so harsh and brutal, you won't believe it.
Casino is way more gruesome, no doubt. I always preferred Goodfellas though. Still, I won't complain if either are on
