old school emo from like 85-94 is some of my favorite hardcore/punk. the shit that's called "emo" these days has nothing at all to do with that scene, or punk in general.

Get educated.
80's emocore is well dope but i dont like anything considered "emo" in this millenium
word, i was going to post something to that affect as well. all this pop punk bullshit and losers with the dyed hair and girl pants being labeled emo is so off its rediculous.
the "real" emo or emocore or whatever, is actually one of my favorite genres and no they dont usually talk about uctting themselves either for you peopel that dont know.
lately i've been listening to nothing but what some call "tough guy hardcore."
bulldoze is one of the illest NYHC bands everrrrrrr.
^^that's the No Man's Slave LP that came out in 2002 on Deep Six Records. it fucking rips. and yeah i dig negative approach, not devoid of faith so much though.
EDIT: Fuck this. If I can't get around the filter anymore and type Infest lyrics in all caps, I don't want to type them at all.
On a related note, I once played "Slave" to a class at the beginning of a speech on hardcore. Best 18 seconds of their lives.
anyone like the Gun Club? i have fire of love and i like it alot. i ges ud call them bluesey cowpunk?
if anyone wants some Charged G.B.H. shit i have their "Punk Singles 1981-84" collection and can up any of that, if anyone has something that isn't on that cd I'd like to hear it.
