awesome man. i'm checkin your shit, lots of good stuff here: pg 99, city of caterpillar, saetia, combatwounded veteran. some good bands. i have lots of rare pg 99 records. a great band like that is Jeromes Dream, who fucking rip.

ah yes i listen to them too. theyre hard to get into because of the recordings. i heard they recorded the vocals with the mic on the floor. and yeah i was recently debating on whether or not to buy the discography.

and yeah pg.99 and city of caterpillar are definitely some of my favorite bands. i recently picked up the COC demo and live recordings and its just as amazing as their self titled.

The Germs! pick up there anthology today...its fuckin worth it. darby crash (vocals) had intelligent lyrics and a snarl that defined early LA hardcore/punk.

what im talkin about is straight up punk rock! no need for record executive pushin ya around, no need for mad advertisement. im talkin about raw music here. and yall wu heads on here (including me) obviously appreciate raw music. and when i say raw, im talkin about punk and hardcore that pummel a hole in ya fukin head wen u listen to it. Check the Germs, Bad Brains, early Misfits, Clash, Minor Threat, Black Flag and all that shit...and stay away from new bands like Taking Back Sunday and another new bands who claim to be punk, cuz theyre just faggots.

TSOL is great. another band from that era/region is SOCIAL UNREST. totally snotty hardcore punk. they got a different singer after like 11 songs but he is ok too. but their first 11 or so songs are some of the rawest 80s punk around

and HTE, i keep hearing about merauder...for some reason I've gotten the idea they're wicked metal (moreso than most modern NYHC). can you upload a track maybe? i have a demo tape of a side project of one of the merauder dudes and its straight brutal hardcore.
