yeah iron flag went gold that was it
I didn't like Iron Flag, i hated all that singing, only a few song I liked...
peace!
Shaolin shadowboxin' and the wu-tang swordstyle...If what you say is true...The shaolin and the wu-tang could be dangerous!En garde, I'll let you try my wu-tang style...
yeah. 4 complete different sounds but... 36 and forever were very revolutionary at their times...that's why they had such a succes. the w and the ironflag were not so spectacular. i don't say they were not good albums (cuz the wu haters will start and scream that i diss those albums). no . i love them a lot. but they were not so revolutionary. and i don't think that ironflag beats were so clean. i like them better than w. the w was for me like a combined album...different type of songs.that's why i prefer ironflag.
if you take song by song i think w i sbetter but as a whole album ironfalg is better
peace
I agree it's 4 different sounds because they updated with times
Yeah, thats what I thought I mean like 36 Chambers was like so dark and "dusty" (and that picture of six members of the Wu when you open the case really sets it off!) but then we had Wu-Tang forever and it was like wow! man this is different! But I didn't consider the fact that they might have changed there style it on porpose.Personally I didn't get enough of the 36 Chambers style before they changed it.
also, people are forgetting they've grown up as people, and the equipment used to make the albums, as time moves on technology progresses, tremendously, since 36 Chambers they had been more places seen more things, outside of new york, recorded in different studios, made more money, made movies, tv shows, world tours, clothing lines, nail polish etc, and now they're not as hungry, because they already have a die hard fanbase, add all that up with the fact that RZA only produced 36 Chambers in its entirety (aside from the solo projects), all the other Wu Tang Clan albums had other producers, even if they were a part of Wu fam.
its not neccsarily that they were looking to make albums with a certain sound, its just that times, people & technology changes.
