    Default Nas - God's Son

    1. get down
    2. the cross
    3. made you look
    4. last real nigga alive
    5. zone out feat. bravehearts
    6. hey nas feat. kelis & claudette ortiz
    7. i can
    8. book of rhymes
    9. thugz mansion (ny) feat. 2pac & j. pheonix
    10. mastermind
    11. warrior song feat. alicia keys
    12. revolutionary warfare feat. lake
    13. dance
    14. heaven

Ive seen some people say that the beats are boring or whatever but I really like this album. I wanted to see what other people thought cuz Ive seen mixed opinions. Personal it's one of my favourite Nas albums, it was the first one I bought along with I Am but I listened to this a lot more and I still like it now.

    8.5/10 for me.

the album wasnt all that imo, too much filler
    1. get down (5/5 great classy storytelling, fat beat)
    2. the cross (3/5 nas comes good lyrically, but (sighs) is produced by eminem)
    3. made you look (5/5 this is real hip hop, classic nas rips it)
    4. last real nigga alive (4/5 nas explains about the beef hes been involved with, bland beat takes away from it)
    5. zone out feat. bravehearts (5/5 this is pretty fuckin sick, the beat is like backwards or sumthin, even bravehearts have some good verses)
    6. hey nas feat. kelis & claudette ortiz (3/5 so so rnb type track)
    7. i can (3/5 lyrics are very mature, maybe a little patronising though + boring beat)
    8. book of rhymes (5/5 inventive track, nas flicking through his book to get some rhymes, nice alchemist beat)
    9. thugz mansion (ny) feat. 2pac & j. pheonix (2/5 never liked this track)
    10. mastermind (5/5 classic id say, lyrically incredible)
    11. warrior song feat. alicia keys (3/5 another duck ass beat)
    12. revolutionary warfare feat. lake (5/5 another classic, lake and nas trade some sick verses over alchemist soulful loop, i read that lakey the kid is actually signed to death row now)
    13. dance (4/5 a lotta people seem to like this, its like nas tribute to his mom)
    14. heaven (5/5 nas classic, he addresses the world on modern day issues similar vein to 'poison')

I actually like the beat on The Cross. last real nigga alive is a more boring beat but I still like that song.

I also think the chorus on I can is cheesy its not the beat that makes the song bad, its still an ok song tho.

overall I can listen to it all the way thru... dance I find quite boring but I can listen to it... i think this was one of the albums that opened my eyes to more lyrical rapping. a lot of the topics were different to what I was listenin to at the time which was mostly mainstream stuff.

Get Down is one of Nasī best songs...Salaam Remi has some sick production on this Streets Disciple I think is more solid; but this has better tracks I Can is great lyrically; as is Made You Look (classic); Last Real Nigga Alive and the last two Dance and Heaven are real touching but this isnīt my fav Nas album not even my 4th... ZOne Out should be in the Hague for war crimes

Very solid album by Nas. I think this album is underrated, there are alot of very good songs on this album like:

    Thugz Mansion
    Get Down
    Dance
    Heaven

True, solid album. But not banger. I give it 8/10.

every song on this album was either a complete hit or complete miss. dance is also one of the saddest hip hop songs ive heard. 7/10
