Deck's strengths and weaknesses

Inspectah deck has probably the best flow i the whole clan, however this is only when he decides to do it mean how can he just turn that shit off
lets be fair he is awsome with the clan but why is he so crap when he goes solo he jus dont sound the same it seems he needs other Mc's round him to perform well, why cant he jus be like ge is in the group albums or when he features on other albums, uncontrolled werent bad but the movemnet was terrible, i havent played it since i bought it ,

and is it me or does he sound like hes got a throat infecton in rock the bells !!!!!!!!

hes got a great voice and i think his flow is one of the best of the clan...but his albums just suck thats true but i think hes gonna change that with his next album when he goes back 2 old school..i think decks flow is perfect with dark tracks like spazzola and such..decks next album is prolly gonna be his best to date

Weaknesses - none, other than lack of promotion, but thats not his fault. Poor production of the other hand maybe. HE himself makes some of the illest Clan beats other than RZA but his solo beats are kinda wack

Deck is the set-it-off man. Protect Ya Neck, Triumph, Guillotine (Swordz), The Jumpoff, Assassination Day, For Heavens Sake, etc. He always the right one to set it off. He has some good solo material also (Uncontrolled Substance, his solo on Wu-Tang Forever "The City", and some of The Movement).

i agree with the thread author this guy can rip the mic 7 new assholes and often outshines other members when he is featuring but he just cant get it up for his solos. i think meth, ghostface, and sometimes masta killa have a better flow then he but like Rza said, when he needs to attack he goes with deck first.

On Clan albums, I really don't think anyone is close to Deck, especially on 36 chambers and Forever. Every verse he dropped was classic. When his flow is in top form, to me, its the best in rap.

His weaknesses though, are most of his hooks suck ass, his complete lack of marketability (I dont really care about that though), and he's not very good at choosing beats for his solo cd's.

If Deck gets it together, Return of the Rebel can easily be the best Wu album since Supreme Clientele

u clearly dont know what ur talkin about.. ins fuckin riiips it on uncontrolled substance..listen to hyperdermix or friction or any song.. he brings it no doubt... the movement had some whack production on it but ins still came strong with his lyrics...so he dotn need no1 aruond him to preform man..And as for his voice he was sick.. i saw a show right after that and he told us he was still kinda sick.. personally i liked it tho.. made him sound nice and grimey... dont hate on deck man.. peace

Uncontrolled Substance is a fucking underrated album, right up there for me.......
The Movement was very, very disappointing and he does seem to sound better on other people's shit than his own...........above the clouds, the abduction, rumble, assassination day, cross my heart, guillotine (swordz) spring to mind.

Wu group stuff though for me he's top dog.........especially Iron Flag, he runs that shit.

He seems to have same prob as Nas, doesn't always pick the best beats, maybe needs some more RZA, Mathematics, Tru Master, 4th Disciple, even his own production as on Uncontrolled!

Saying all this he is my favourite in the clan!
