I think everybody thought that. I did at first, but after reading the comic-con stuff. It makes sense. Venom is a clone of Spidey and they wanted an actor that looks and is similar to Tobey. So, yeah they picked the right choice. Plus we have not seen full venom yet, so he may be a little bigger. They joked about Vin Diesel playing the role. The creators said they needed someone to act opposite Tobey, not someone with muscles.

Supposedly there is a extended trailer that they soon are going to release. I found this on so many message boards. Real short and bad quality, but check it out!

^No problem. Yes, the end is suppose to be his mouth coming at you, but in bad quality.
I've heard he does appear at the end of the movie, but not in like a continuation. So, you guess what's it about.
Yeah, this movie is going to be longer than the first two.
