Islam recognizes almost all Jewish and Christian prophets and saints (Moses=Mussah, Mary=Miryam), with exception that Jesus (Isa) ain't God's son. Muhammad is the LAST and the MOST IMPORTANT prophet, not the only.

We believe that Jesus was the Messiah who god , with the help of the Virgin Mary, created. But at that time the Middleeast was STILL a polytheitic society, people digressed from Christianity/jeudism to believing in Idols (reason why muslims do not have idols and Mohammed cartoons...) Mohammed is considered the last prophet A HUMAN BEING. and Islam ..through the sword i admit.. spread through the middleeast/balkans/south asia..etc

How come any discussion involving religion (islam in particular) degenerates into people disrespecting the religion and culture of muslims? I'm not muslim or even particularly religion, but this type of ignorance is offensive to me, just as a thinking human, so I know muslims get frustrated.
