i still say the ps3 is the better buy even if the systems are the same
cuz of the blueray drive
puts the games and flicks in a better visial mode
better colors
i still say the ps3 is faster as i did test it out
loading times a lil faster
in bigger games

not saying 360 is bad..but ps3 is worth more

depends on what tv u got if u want to watch dvds in hight quilty of not

Blueray doesn't have any influence on colours or any sort of visuals in games.

By the time the PS3 is released, you could buy two Xbox 360's for the same price. I'm not saying this or that is better, but for my money I would go with a 360 and a bunch of games. But to each his own.

but u can just buy the cams on normal discs for 55$
witch is the price tag for new ps3 games

The price drop will happen this year. Expect it to be around $299 for premium which is $360 at it's cheapest right now.

Stop saying Blue Ray makes games look better, this simply isn't true.

The DVD player in the 360 is barely decent, playing movies on it isn't something you will want to do. Microsoft needs to sort that out. I'm not sure if the Blue Ray in the PS3 will be any good seeing how the DVD player in the PS2 was a piece of crap. Also, Blue Ray players cost around $1000 right now, so don't expect a player of that quality in a $600 gaming console.

By that logic, the Xbox360 would be faster since it has 3 processors and each of those 3 processors are just as fast as the one in the PS3.

Holy fucking crap, so I am a nerd that pissed his pants. So what, I know what the fuck I am talking about. Jasper said it, and Im saying it, the PS3 and 360 visually, will basically look the same.

So, a professor tells you something and you automatically believe him. Listen, games content and visuals is based on the game developers, not what the system has. Gamecube is a less powerful system than the PS2 and Xbox, but RE4 was a milestone and an absolute powerful game visually. Game developers admit that it was difficult to port the game over to the PS2.

Get whatever game system but know that fun wins out in the end. And I think having all three next-gen systems is important. Horay for the Wii.

No it wont dumbass. The PS3 blu-ray driver is cheap, its already known to us geeks. No, seriously, it will not upconvert dvds into better resolution or even full widescreen. (Maybe full widescreen) Anyway, the blu-ray wont be as good as the players now.

The fan for the 360 is called an intercooler, and I dont know where the fuck you shop, but that shit is 20 bucks. The 60 dollars is not really a fan, plus there is no difference between the $20 and the $60. I have the $20, it froze twice, and that was during online play with burnout.

Those specs are basically the same dumbass, the GPU is basically the same. Most PC people prefer a ATI card, but the Nvidia card is great too.

The only difference and I didnt notice this before is the memory. The PS3 does have more memory, I mean 360 has 3 core processors which are more powerful then the PS3, but why the fuck does the PS3 have 7 mini processors. It has slightly more memory, which means it can handle more duties, and run faster than the 360. But nobody will tell the fucking difference. So, in the end, they are basically the same, PS3 being a little more powerful. So, really whos gonna know?

No they fucking havent, you either a liar or you dont know what they shipped. Its dev kits, and you're right two weeks ago they started shipping these thing out to companies, but there are no real PS3 theres, just processors and shit. Plus, back to what you said, yes the blu-ray players upconvert dvds to hd quality, basically making them full widescreen. Ok, so some old guy from your school says the PS3 is 'physically superior' and you take his word for him because he's a professor?

Fact is, there isn't much difference between insides of a 360 and a PS3 powerwise. And if one is better than the other, it would be the 360 since it has a slightly faster GPU.

Actually he's not that old. Probably mid-30's and I listen cuz he's the most knowledgable professor I've had since I've been there. Its a tec school, so its all computer related and the guy can go on for hours about the ps3 and why it takes a shit all over the 360.

and you're blind, please tell me where you're getting this info. I will admit by saying, the systems are the same almost, but with proper game deswign from developers, you can make games look better on the PS3 than the 360, but that depends on developers.
