i use a $60/6 year old 2 channel mixer and a $30 dollar radio shack mic. I do have a $400 Rhode condencer mic and a M-Audio innerface, and a M-Audio midi board brand new but i dont use em. I also got some Beyerdynamic DT770's dynamic head phones that i do use.
