The way it goes is like this. People begin negative due to the name using of a classic........then they hear Rae and Rza back together on form and then they become positive...........gradually it becomes overhyped...........then the delays begin to set in.........buzz dies out...........all people remember is the overhype...........cd comes out and even if its very good it doesn't give them the same feeling as those individual songs filtering through to create the hype did...........album flops.

Cuban Linx was in part successful due to its superior quality but in part due to the fact it was a first time for such a cd hence the impact on arrival. pt 2 doesn't have the luxury of the impact on arrival as we already know the impact on arrival part from the first cd (assuming they stick to the original formula). In the end it will not get the support as it will be more down to perception than quality that the cd is successful.
