RZA isn't a real scratch happy producer, but he is an absolute genius at crafting samples. Premo is a scratch master, hell half of Gangstarr songs the hook is a scratch.

Nah, went back this weekend, smoked about 1800 blunts while listening to 4:21 and my opinion has changed. The scratching really is pretty simple stuff on the album. That's not bad at all, but you and ruby are probably right. The fact is that when I REALLY listened to the scratches they did seem done by RZA. Just simple, in the pocket-type shit. Fits the album good... Peace ya'll-

Great album; the Rza tracks are the best; "the Glide" is outstanding. The tracks with Dirty and Red are also real good. I like every song

I dont really feel 4:20 or The Glide all that much. I expect better drums on RZA's part. Drums on those tracks are weak. His other beats put in were well done.
