I didn't like any of the songs because of the wack beats. I still like Method Man's lyrics but the beats on this album were terrible. I wish rappers would stick to the hardcore beats like back in the day. Why do rappers always gotta change their shit? Stick to the damn formula that made you successful in the beginning. The reason why Wu Tang were so successful when they started out was because their beats were grimey and hard. Now their beats suck.

I partly agree but not all those beats were wack at all 3-4 maybe
Lex Diamond Story was a bigger offender

You thought Lex Diamond Story album sucked? I liked that album a little. It was disappointing compared to his first classic album. Immobilarity was disappointing also.

I liked the rhymes but those beats were mostly weak after awhile. Pit Bull Fights and a few others were still dope though I always liked Immobilarity and still listen to it except the last tracks

i might say that there was nothing very good from the clan (neither as the group nor as soloartist) since WU TANG FOREVER... when u want the real oldschool rugged style u have to go more into the wu... somthin' like shabazz, hell razah, som, bronze nazareth etc.... they really do representin the style of the base.... simpl, lyricly perfect, raw, rugged and so on.... thats the reason why i love the wu.... and when they wont go back to the roots, they wont become a legend....

i hope u know what i mean.... sorry 4 my bad englisch... im just a german

yeah, there are a few.... they are really classic (pillage, no said date, made in brooklyn (mk is one of few how brought classic stuff at least)...)
but the latest albums from method man were BAD (prequel and 4:21)
and the three last ghostalbum were bad too.... not very classic stuff like supreme clientel or iron man....
ok, there were a few good tracks.... but just banga.... and i like classic stuff like wu tang forever.... all 25 tracks are on top.... or enter the wu tang.... i still listn to this shit.... and i listn to it for about 8 years....

one last question.... did u feel "iron flagg" or "The W" ????
    i didnt...
or did u feel 4:21.... prequel.... fishscale.... more fish.... pretty toney.... ???
    i did not....!

what i feel is "Holocaust" "fear love and war" "heavy mental" "the great migration" "MIB" "NSD" "TICAL" "TICAL 2000" "IRON MAN" "SUPREME CLIENTEL" "AFRO SAMURAI" "RENISSANCE CHILD" ... and many more.... but not this commercial shit like 4:21 prequel and so on....

check out this video.... what meth said.... that what i want

Was a cool album, but if he left out the love tracks, as well as the k1 tracks(except maybe fall out), this album wud be a very strong, 11-13 track album

I was very disappointed by this album as I listened to it for the first time....well nothing changed, Presidential MC stands out as an ill track, that's it pretty much

    Default I'm Really Feeling 4:21

When I first listened to 4:21.. The Day After, I wasn't really feeling it too much - It's been about a month or two since I've given it a listen and I like it a lot more now.. I think it grew on me or something. Just wanted to post that.. I like the CD a lot more now.

I agree dammit. I was listening it last week, it's a really good album

unfortunely there's that asshole Kwame/K1 that takes the album's level down
but besides that 2 tracks, I love 4:21.
