Disappointed Mendes lost after dominating the two rounds with wrestling and ground-and-pound. Connor had no answer on the ground. Mendes looked gassed in the first round. Perhaps carrying too much muscle or not having enough time to get cardio in.

Mcgregor's ground game was a joke. I'm surprised he took those forearms as well as he did. Shit just seemed fixed. If he stays in the fight game for a while, all those hits to the head will catch up to him. Not sure if it was the kick to the ribs that made Mendes look winded in the first round or if he always fights like that.
