WHY WASN’T METH AT THE BET AWARDS

So, when BET did the obligatory dedication to Wu Tang’s Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Meth was not there. Now, from what we know, Mef has been in Cali doing some Hollywood work. Last week when he was addressing the Superhead stuff, he blurted out, “Message to Kelly Griffith –I’ll be coming to see you when I get home.” Well, nobody knew what was going on ‘til a friend of mine hit me up and gave me the 411. In the latest issue of XXL (with The Roc), Buckshot of Duck Down Records said that Kelly G (who is a powerhouse at Black Entertainment Television) said that acts like Method Man, Redman and Duck Down were pretty much irrelevant. I’m not saying Kelly G said it, but Buck was expressing his grievance with getting coverage on TV. Well, I can co-sign that Buckshot and 9th Wonder have a great CD called Chemistry and you can read about in AHH’s feature section!

And if that doesn't happen go to an independent label where u would be more successful. Def Jam just hasn't been the same since their glory days with Russel Simmons, Lyor Cohen, and Kevin Liles.
