Rza was obligated by the record company to work with certain MC's! (becouse of the succes)
The other half of the MC's was picked up by Rza!
This was the deal between he and the record company.
Personaly I'm satisfied with the line up!
Afrob, Curse, Sekou, Xavier one of the best German MC's.
I like Samy Deluxe, Azad, D-Flame, Torch to, but maybe it would be too much 4 this only one CD.
    about the French site ..
I'm sorry that Supreme NTM was left outside.
But IAM, Bamz, Nap, Saian are just as good as NTM.
I don't realy know the Skandinavians, but I'm surprised, that he didn't work with Looptroop (sweedish rap group, with english flow, very well known in Europe).
and I'm sorry that he didn't work with hungarian cats .. although, he's got some friend MC's here .. but I supouse, they were left outside by the Rec Company.

once again, this CD is one of my fav. Dope Dope Dope

That Super Saian song I likes. Think the production is nice as fuck, but a couple of the artists on it I dont like. But overall very good

This album was awesome. Production was stellar.

It's hard to pick a favorite track.

But SkinnyMan goes so hard on a Rza beat I have to pick this:

RZA - Boing, Boing Feat. Blade, Skinnyman and Mr. Tibbs

when you take the concept into account, so many artists in so many different languages, this album worked out well enough. I don't give it too much play, but the beats are ACE and some of the songs are just dope in their own right thanks to the artists

I would have loved to hear some generals rap over some of these beats. Just like I would have loved to have some of the Ghost Dog beats used on a Wu group album.

BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS.

RZA must've made a bunch of euros with that Xaiver Naidoo song.

It has more views than Triumph and M.E.T.H.O.D. Man on Youtube. 68 million

This is a massive song in Germany. They won the equivalent of a Grammy for this song. There are some videos on youtube of this song performed live. There are thousands of people at the show. Massive hit!

Crazy that I see this here as I was just about to post about one of the samples I just found. Not sure if it was discovered before, but RZA sampled "Swan Lake" by Ferrante & Teicher for "Black Star Line-Up."

    Good find.

Ferrante & Teicher (Piano & Orchestra) - Swan Lake

Rza sampling ballet music. I bet he didn't expect you to find that one.

My second favorite track on the album, besides Boing Boing, is probably RZA - On Tha Ground Feat. Diaz, Petter and Feven (Scandinavian Allstars)

Yeah word. Ferrante & Teicher have many dope joints. They've been sampled a lot. "On The Ground" is really dope. "North Sea" is also really dope!

RZA is also known for his classical samples. Goes all the way back to atleast Ironman.

Couple month ago I heard a track. And I was like 'I heard that before'. Yup, one of the beats on WAR.
