When the MC's came, to live our their name
    And to perform (forrrrm)
Some had, to snort cocaine (caiiinnne) to act insane (sannne)
with before Pete Rock-ed it on, now gone
that the mental plane (plaaanne) to spark the brain (brainnn)
with the building to be born
Yo RZA flip the track with the what to gut
    (random ramblings...)

from what I have heard in I think a GZA interview, they more or less just freestyled, or made up the chorus on the fly

Yeah, I don't blame you for not understanding the chrous. English is my first language and I couldn't make out a lot of what he was saying. 11th Chamber has it down though. It's a sickenin hook though. One of the best of all time in my opinion.

    Smile

gza's and masta killa's verses are the illest worldwide.

liquid swords was the 1st song i heard from gza and in this moment i was thinking "gotta have this album, no matter what!"
    he's the master of metaphors...

"i flow like the blood on a murder scene"

    "I don't waste ink, nigga I think
I drop megaton bombs more faster than you blink"

"That's minimum, and feminine like sandals
My minimum table stacks a verse on a gamble"

    just sick rhymes...

hes generally talkin about the way mcs perform. they get high to get sayn what they want to say.

building to be born is wording of the Nation of Gods and Earths.

to build, is to exercise knowledge between people, and for it to be born is somewhat to crystallise or establish what has been discussed (building).
therefore gza may be sayn that...
the things they were discussing (deep shit), they have established a conclusion on that.

    peace

This chorus appeared first in part on ODB's Harlem World, "when the MCs came to live out their name", so I always assumed it was a part of Gza, Dirty and Rza's routines back in the day
As for myself: I had come to the conclusion that there was nothing sacred about myself or any human being, that we were all machines, doomed to collide and collide and collide.
