In order to know where you're going, you have to know where you come from - Fredrick Douglas. History was kept from (certain) people so their true greatness wouldn't be achieved. Talking about the past isn't living in the past. When a person says "stop living in the past" it says alot about who and what they are. The past is the key to the salvation of original people.

i think we just get sick and tired of hearing what out idiotic ancestors did. yet we have to hear it time and time again. we are not them. i love history and dont get bored of it. but if you want to continue to bring up this subject and hate, its just gonna rot you from the inside out.

You dont have to hear it.....some come here and discuss it without pointing fingers at each other. Sometimes its important to discuss it.....if it is done certain ways, progress can be made.

Its not really a subject of hate unless it really is the intention. Rather than hearing what ancestors have done, its about acknowledging what did happen and what the truths are....then its fun for everyone. When certain beliefs come into play that tell a story about what certain people really are....then it starts getting touchy. However it is true that one side is quick to play offence and the other to play defence....but teams cannot be played.
