Season One though is gangster, much more so then the first. This is the Black Sopranos I say, just as good as it too in my book. It's from another side of the spectrum you just gotta understand where the show is coming from. They give you politics which Sopranos doesn't. Shows you how it's good and bad, especially in Season 3. Season 1 is just as fucked up. I never seen it, I started mid-season 2... but 3 was my favorite because of the kids. They put out a good message with how they showed the school system and what you face at that age.

The wire is a lot more complex, I think thats why I don't like it as much though, a lot of the police politics and stuff is boring to me.

I don't watch the show because i don't have HBO but i heard Wood Harris left the show. I heard that black female cop that plays on the show is a lesbian. Is she still on the show? She's cute. I saw her in Shaft movie with Samuel Jackson and she was in G movie with Richard Jones and Blair Underwood.

Anyone remember that show called something like The Corner bout a dealer called D'andre, and his mother was a crack head and his dad was a heroin addict, it was pretty good, based on a true story, you saw the real people it was based on at the end

I saw The Corner and it was pretty good. The young boy who was a drug dealer, his name is Sean Nelson and he played in The Wood movie with Omar Epps and Taye Diggs. He also played in Fresh movie with Samuel Jackson and N'Bushe Wright. His mom who was a crackhead, her name is Khandi Alexander. She plays on the tv show CSI Miami and she's played in the movies House Party 3, CB4, Sugar Hill, Menace II Society. His dad who was also a crackhead, his name is TK Carter. He's been on the Steve Harvey Show several times and he was on Good Times tv show. He's a funny guy.
