Mine just got it and i set up for a rapair with microsoft ....

Have anybody repair they xbox 360?...is it worth it? does it really work?

Dont send it for repair, what do the lights look like. It might mean that its overheated and you need air to fluctuate back there near the fan. Do you have an intercooler?

Nope and dont own a fan, only an AC and how can it be overheated when its been off for a few days already?...oh and the 3 red lights are flashing around the turn on button..

Don't buy an intercooler. There has been incidents of it getting really hot and burning and mealting onto the console. It won't cool down your xbox, it will either do nothing to improve its conditions or simply fuck it up.

mostly all my friends have had 2 send there xboxs for repair, somethimes 2 or 3 times but i havent.

Once you get the 3 little red lights of death, It's over for your system.. You have to send it in for repair..

the same thing happend with my brothers 360 he got his around the time they first came out it is never a good idea to get a system when the first come out they seem to fuck up

^ That sucks doode.. Microsoft was giving out free repairs to systems that were made in 2005. They even sent me a free 3 year warranty

well they say it expired, but just cause i dont have a recieve of the purchase, they asking for $140..i wont mind paying the money but like i told them. what makes me sure u guys are going to really repair it and i wont have to send it back?..the dude told me there was no warranti they will totaly repair it. wtf?...so i dont know what to do.
