i dont like the fact everyone is mad about metallica "selling out" on this album because it was different from master of puppets and such, still classic shit on there.

^no doubt, man i'll say even Load had some great material, but they did drop the ball with Reload; Only good songs on that are Unforgiven 2 and Devil's Dance.

I'm gonna have to disagree, imo Unforgiven is damn near the most OVERRATED track they have. Kirk Hammetts guitar solo in the middle is fucken horrible and takes the whole song out of context...Fuck Bob Rock, they should've stuck with the other producer they used on the previous albums. You want classic Metallica tracks? Try Orion, Sanitarium, One, Anaesthesia (ill), for whom the bell tolls, call of the ktulu, fade to black, to live is to die

And yes, Unforgiven is sick, classic video too. Unforgiven II is great too, but not on par with the original.

I can probably still recite every Metallica-song tho I haven't listened to them in a long time. Saw them live a few years ago tho, amazing.

I used to hate Metal until my black african cousin introduced me to them with the video for "One" back in like 88-89. "Blackened" is one the best guitar intros on any album I ever heard.

And you cant forget the "Transformers:The Movie" theme, which reminds me of that "Blackened".
