I've heard like 4 songs from this album from my friend and must have heard the words "Dre", "Compton" and "Gangsta" about 15 times. Didn't really hear the lyrics too well as the music was just playing from a phone, but some bits I heard weren't too good. I heard something along the lines of "I'm a real gangsta from Compton, just like Dre was back in NWA" so many times.

I have to agee with you.
Too much namedropping and sometimes quite repititive.
Don't expect anything special lyrical, it's just nice to bump in the car (because of the hot production).

Definitley a banger, Ol English is my favourite joint on there. And usually I hate rapper/reggae artists collabs/samples but One Blood was a great joint.

best album of 2006 period. this is the only mainstream album I'll ever like. what a surprise, I thought it was gonna be some terrible candy rap like his debut but nah, he changed my opinion of him 360 literally. it's a banger for sure.

Great beats, excessive name dropping (Dre and NWA ass kissing), same rhymes over and over, but still quite good to the ear, not a lot of replay value... I think The Documentary has more replay value.
I rate it 7/10, which is above average and solid, this album would have been terrible without the hot beats.
