lyrically immobilarity was definately on point, but the beats were awful.

Christianity = White Supremacy
That's the truth! Lyrically this album is almost as good as OB4CL if it wasn't for the stupid guest appearences by American Cream Team. The beats weren't anything that great, some beats were HORRIBLE, while others were aight or even dope.Originally Posted by wadedigital36
One of the dopest tracks to me is Sneakers. Although you could see this track as a representation of the whole album; it is a pretty good track, dope lyrics by Raekwon, but def not Pete Rock's best beat. The same goes for the album, pretty good, dope lyrics, but some beats are lacking.
the beats were terrible. they would make a deaf persons scream in agony.

but listening objectively.. it was dope...you gotta get used to it cuz.. i know everyone was looking for that raw rza and wutang type of album...
on the real
if rae sticks with RZA, hollas at NO.I.D. and True Master..gets that pete rock and Mathematics..and then.. 1 or 2 DJ Premier tracks
he'd have a perfect album!
cuz we wanna hear that type of raw NY type of feel even though NO.I.D ain't from here.. he got that raw sound
JAY DEE also has those crazy raw beats..not the r&B type of joints..when he makes those crazy raw hiphop beats..he's amazing..
check bustas track on the anarchy album.. #10.. show me what u got
Jay dee rocked that beat.. unbelievable!!!
but nah..i like it..
and I know street kats that love the album cuz the slang is ridiculous!

The W is classic
The W...is nice....not end to end bangin'....but nice...take 'conditioner' off and it would be getting there....not a fan of 'redbull' either...
immorbolarity is sick not as great a OBCL
The W i loved it very underrated
in all and all they're both good just not the classic everyone expect them 2 be or were 2 be
i love them two albums too, some classic songs on them
mmm immobilarity was wack...and the w a bit better...but not that great
Immobilarity is about average level. Everything says average about it other than the few dope tracks on it. The W is a near classic album, with every track being dope except for Conditioner and Redbull.
The W was ill as fuck, end to end only a few tracks I dont get down with and conditioner isnt one, too slept on, shit sounds like it was done in a roach infested basement, too grimey for cats to overstand
Immobilarity's production was unbearable I dont care how good Rae's lyrics were, ruined the album made it garbage
I think both albums just suffered from high expectations of fans. The W was really pretty good, it just wasn't what people wanted or needed from the Wu at the time so it never got a fair shake. Immobilarity had an even higher bar set for it and failed even more. Its a mediocre album at best, but its not as bad as people make it out to be. Its just missing an extra Wu presence and some decent beats. Lyrically its very good though. Rae does some nice storytelling on it. If you can forget about the beats and just listen to Rae spit you'll appreciate it more.
Emotions are for the weak, so I sold mine to the highest bidder.
Immobilarity as a whole is not very good, but some tracks I love on there, my fav is Casablanca. Yae Yo, Jury, Live From New York, The Table & Sneakers kick ass, too, that's about it for me. The W is dope as fuck.
In the world I see, you're stalking elk through the damp canyon forest around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty carpool lane of some abandoned superhighway.
