Default Have This Ever Happened to You? and if so............

    How do you fix it?

The problem: every youtube video I watch the sound doesn't work at all. I can play my MP3's with no problems and I've downloaded the updates to all the mediaplayers I might need, flashplayer, quicktime, etc...I have a Mac but I'll take suggestions from windows users as well just to try and locate what the fuck went wrong and I know it's not the videos themselves cuz the same ones had no problems a week ago.

Any help is much appreciated, pz

Strange shit. Do other sites with flash videos work? dailymotion.com, colegehumor.com video.google.com
because if it's overall it might be something with flash. If it's just youtube, hmmm, maybe it's a mac thing, dont know. Does it also happen with all browsers?

^Yeah, it was happening w/ either IE or Safari, I had to go into Utilites>Disk Utilities>and then run a emergency repair on my permissions to fix it (macs are a lil harder to configure than a Windows pc) but it fixed a couple of odd snags that seemed to embedded in the coding somewhere which fixed the issue. Thanks for the offering though homie, peace.

i have a mac and use safari, all youtube vids work for me.

youve probably done this already, but in preferences there are some "security" options which relate to net plugins, java etc.

    maybe you have those unselected

its probably something to do with your preferences, but im not expert.
