Revolver was the first one that I got. It has one of the best ending songs. The arrangement wasnt bad. I thought taxman was pretty punk rock for the beatles.

My favorite is Rubber Soul. It has a real thick sound to it. The song "In my life" is the shit!

The best album would most likely be Abby Road.

She's so Heavy is begging to be sampled. Why anybody hasnt yet , I will never know. Maxwells Silver hammer was insane. How they threw that song in the arrangement without it being odd was nice. Mr mustard was dope as well. Pauls medley on the B-side is the sinker though. John playing "her majesty" at the end is the cherry on top.

their top 5 are probably (critically/musically, in no particular order)
    Sgt. Pepper's
    Rubber Soul
    The White Album
    Revolver
    Abbey Road

debate goes on within here i'd say.

You know, the only time I ever listen to the early work is if I am listening to a greatest hits comp. I never found the need to cop them albums like hard days night and meet the beatles. I got them from the library long long ago and copied them. Now all I have is a track here and there from them albums. They werent the best.

There is a college radio station here in SA that plays the Beatles on Sunday morning for a few hours and thats the only time that I vibe out to the early stuff. They had some really tight live shit back then. Their sets were gold. They had good cover songs. I like the concepts that they had with the early work though. Makin movies about the albums and shit. That was genius.

If you aint ever heard a whole album let alone a whole song then you should get Revolver. Thats cool that you was honest. Telling the truth is the shit no matter how shitty it may seem.

    Abbey Road
