    ^^^ i wouldnt call them "Bands" exactly. were refering to those ones that play instruments like guitars and shit

    tool...not much of a fan..most of thier tracks are just stretched out and too long....

    ^ good call Kris, the Ozzy years w/ Black Sabbath as the original line-up were straight fire...Led Zep are also classics in a more mainstream light, def prefer Sabbath though.

    Concerning my first two choices so far, what's so great about Bon Jovi? Most of their fans are women, that like them, cause they think Jon Bon Jovi is a hunk. lol

    And what good song does Nickelback have out? They just seem to put out standard, boring songs to me.

    Zepplin........I'm dead serious, I'm not a huge fan, and I dunno why they are hailed and worshipped...........I'm a str8 up Sabbath fan, and every time some1 tries to convince me how Zepplin is better than Sabbath, I just shun them away.....lol
    yeah thanks for agreeing. i like both zepplin and sabbath but sabbath slightly more. why cuz they rocked harder and the drums kick major ass. some zepplin songs are bluegrass boring music.

    i think you have to look at the so-called impact that bands have made... for instance, the rolling stones were good at what they did, but shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as the beatles...

    and i have to say, elvis is another one... he was a white guy who could supposedly (questionable to me) sing like a black guy... if the prejudices of his time didn't exist, he would be run of the mill...

    also the doors... my god, this group is just awful...

    more recently, the red hot chilli peppers and pearl jam could be put in that bracket... they don't have a lot of versatiltiy in their catalogues... although i have to admit, both have spawned imitators...

    just because a band is overrated doesn't automatically mean they're not good, just not as good as everyone says they are.

    that being said i'm gonna co-sign on the beatles and led zepplin and add the doors.
