I have that Pumpkinhead album, it is dope and highly underrated but I don't like Sage all that much.

My favourate Beatnuts album that I think no-one really talks about despite it's quality.....some of the grittiest beats and some great rhymes combine to make this one of the most underrated albums of the ninties.

This album caught me by surprise in terms of it's pure quality, one of the first releases to come out of the newley revived Rawkus and I have to say that they went back to their roots with this one.........such a great album that it really needs to be heard.

After a few years had passed Sondoobie formerly of the group Funkdoobiest released his debut solo album bringing a new flow with him, this album really is a bit of a gem with some dope production throughout.

You are right though I don't remember anyone mentioning Thirstin Howl but I don't think he is for everyone.

That Pumpkinhead record's alright. I got booooooooored halfway through it everytime I listened to it.

Definitely a classic record, and almost perfect if it wasn't for some of the songs being too long. I can't think of any times I've seen this mentioned.

Everyone always talks about how much they love Heiro/Del/or whatever, but I think overall, this is probably one of my favorite LPs. So good all the way through.

The Fix may have gotten 5 Mics, but I think this is almost definitely better. If there was ever a rap record that made me want to punch a wall, it's this.

I was gonna mention this too although you are wrong about the songs being too long, if you look at a lot of albums during this period most of the tracks ran for over four minutes.

Again I was going to mention this album too......pure quality.

Yeah, a lot of stuff went long. That's my only problem with Mecca and the Soul Brother.

That is a good album...I thought so, my boy who is a huge e-40 fan wasnt feelin it and said his other records are better.

Another is the newer Mack 10 album - Hustlas Handbook.

Mac Dre - Young Black Brotha & 3x Crazy - Stakin Chips are 2 bay area classics that never get mention...as well as Too Shorts whole catologue thats like 15 albums.
