    Question Led Zeppelin

This band is GoAt Status in the Rock Genre aspect. No other band has really fucked with them on their level. Their music stands the test of time and was crafted so well that it left stories to be talked about for years and years.

I been a fan since a child. I go thru phases of heavy listening. I threw the box set in my iPod tonight and it got me thinking. What is the best Led Zeppelin album?

I've had a few favorites thru all these years that include 2 , Houses of the holy, and sometimes 3. Overall though , quality wise and all, I wonder which is the best.

Know this before you vote though. Jimmy Page had the first four albums planned out before he even constructed the band. The first two had out right blues rip offs though and they were later sued by the family of Willie Dixon and other Blues legends. idk......I dont wanna create bias.

Go ahead and vote which album you think was the best and leave a comment about why.

That first paragraph is fucking stupid, what with Black Sabbath existing and all.

The fact that Ronnie James Dio ended up fronting Sabbath makes them exempt. I will say that Sabbath was the other half toward introducing Metal but the thing is that if you match album for album with Zeppelin and Sabbath , then you will see that Sabbath is minus a few points.

They're English....I know everyone knows that but nothing wrong with reminding you all and reinforcing our musical greatness every once in a while lol.

Sometimes I just sit in awe of this band. Sure some of their stuff was....not so interesting, I never really liked the way they re-hashed old blues numbers like 'The Lemon Song' but I always appreciated where they went with their music.

I thought they were at their best when they didn't do straight blues, but used blue-based riffs to create something that was uniquely Zepp, if that makes any sense.

I think Houses of the Holy is their career highlight, at least for me.

Presence gets my vote. There's simply too much great material from all different genres on there... 2 would be my second fav considering I grew up amd learned drums to that album. 4 is my least favorite...too played out, I guess.

they're not my fav, but they're very good.

The Doors rule imo, but it's only a matter of taste.
