Grimm is probably the artist I check for the most these days. I really like his stuff a lot. "American Hunger" is probably the best hip hop album to have dropped in several years. The "Special Herbs and Spices Vol 1" album is also one of my personal favourite albums. Out of all the people I've heard over recycled Doom beats I don't think any come close to using them as well as Grimm. His other 3 albums and the EP with Doom are nice too. Always well worth checking out.

He's nowhere near as good as Rooty P's sig though.

As for AMERICAN HUNGER, yes it's 3-discs!! You might be thinking it would be strictly filler - most cats these days release an album with only 5 or 6 real songs on it. But no, Grimm is here with 60 some songs (maybe it's even 70!) that are ALL solid THICK tracks. I have hesitated with only 5 or so songs out of all THREE DISCS finding those few slightly so-so as opposed to straight killer. As for the rest, ALL of it is incredible. And it was only $20 for the set! I've even seen it online for $15!! I can't get enough of this shit, it's enough to last me years and years of listens. Grimm is back and has never been hungrier, pick this up the second you find it in a shop. Best album of the year, hands down, best hiphop album PERHAPS in the last FEW years.

Yes, he was in that group, although I don't think it was ever anything serious. It's not an important part of his history is what I mean to say.

Yes, he was shot 11 times, or maybe 10? I'm not entirely sure, but yes, he's taken many bullets.

Yes, he is paralyzed.

He was initially deaf and blind after he was shot, but regained both hearing and sight. I think he was paralyzed from the neck down too, but regained use of the top half of his body.

He has a lot of songs which refer to these experiences.

He's referred to as "GM Grimm" at times, but is generally still referred to as "MF Grimm".
