    hehe i cant belive that shit, first i find mobb deep stole the tearz beat now this, mc's get to lazy to make new beats... he lost my respect!

    m.c.'s don't make beats. producers do.

    what about wu-tang.

    ghost used deck's beat on supreme clientele.

    ghost also rapped over entire songs, not even samples on pretty toney

    they surely worked something out about supreme clientele, they from the wu, i c nuttin wrong in group members sharing beats, that's they choice. But when other groups or mc's steal something that aint their, that's low...

    *looks to see when this thread was posted, notices that its recent*

    For those that don't know about this, Mos Def has been using the Liquid Swords beat @ his concerts for atleast 3-4 years now. He finally decided to put it on an album. Anyways, GZA already acknowledged that Mos was using this beat before, soe he already got his blessings from the god himself.

    So yea this song has been out for minute, thats why i was hoping this was an old thread that someone decided to bring back up again. But nah, this track like a homage/tribute song.

    He did the samething with Jay-Z's 'takeover' track on his last album called 'the rapeover.'
