You should be able to play the sample chops and drums with it and do track mutes but you'll still be using the mouse to chop the samples.

I never used Acid but from what I read it has Midi support so it should work. If you make a beat with Acid right now do you use the keyboard to trigger your samples?

I'm not 100% sure. But if you're buying it from a store then you can return it if it doesn't do what you want. I just don't know much about Acid.

ok i already learn that "Garageband" does not transfer samples nor any sounds so Im obligated to install one of these programs "Logic" "Protools" "Recycle" ect... with these i can sync to the MPC and chop and convert my MP3 into WAV so i can transfer them?

so once i have one of those program is that enough to get me started?

just got my M Audio firewire 410 from my brother. I got a nice studio mic and a Korg Triton Music workstation studio/sampler, whats the best way to go about getting all this linked? I got the M Audio cause my mic required phantom power now I just need to link it all up and find a program thats fairly simple and compatible, no Protools recomendations

what kind of interface/sound card are you using? if it's stock (came with the computer) that may be your noise problem right there.

Heres a nice idea on where about to boost vocals to get that 'sound' you always wanted. Now remember though this tutorial is in Reason...it can also be used in any EQ mixing software.

And in this tutorial...this is where to find the 'sweet spot' in any sound when mixing...this includes vocals. Like the first tutorial...you can use this technique in any EQ software.
