Yeah, Wu's pretty drugged out, idk if they still are as much though, infact i doubt it.

ODB- probably every drug on the planet. My theory is that it wasn't 100% or even 70% drug and alchol influence that gave him his style, and iv'e said this before but when other ppl the grew up with him are asked about him doing so wild shit they say "thats dirty being dirty" and i firmly believe it was his natural personality, the drugs amped it up a bit possibly. He does almost all his early work fucked up but you can here on Cuttin Headz that he was 100% sober. I also think it was just him cause think about all the people you've seen drunk and even you yourself, nobdoy is THAT badass when they're fucked up.

Ghost-Used to be a dust head, did coke, and used to be real alcoholicy. He did Cuban Linx on coke, dust and alcohol, which made him sound aggressive. Everytime you here him sounding like he's about to bust out the speakers and punch you, he's drunk, or so i've learned. (Criminology, and EXPECIALLY Brooklyn Zoo II). I don't think Supreme Clientele was really that drug influenced cause it doesn't give that vibe, maybe while he was writting it but who knows.

Ins-I heard doesn't do anything but weed rarely.

Meth- ........ He was too fucked up to remember a lot of Tical evidentally but otherwise..........

Rae- coke and weed, but idk any details

    Masta- no details

U-God- probably did his fair share but i can't tell when he's fucked up and not fucked up on records cause he always comes of vibin the same way

Rza- dusthead, coke head, weed head, you name it. Most of his beats are done under the influence and you can hear it, but some like Gravel Pit were sober, those are the ones that sound more orthodox.

    Gza- no detail except weed

WTF is wrong with everyone? Of course they "do drugs".

I heard that Ghost stopped smoking weed, but who knows with him?

Everyone else smokes, at least occasionally.

And of course they were high as fuck during the first albums...."As High as Wu-Tang Get" fools.

I saw Rae smoke a joint in September, and when I saw the Clan last year pretty much everyone smoked on stage....cept Ghost, RZA and GZA from what I could see. Of course GZA is like 42 or so, so he probably keeps it to a weekend-only sort of thing.

All the best music has been created with external "influences".

Drug music = Wu-Tang, Beatles, Hendrix, Doors, Parliament, Soundgarden, Nirvana, anything else that changed the music scene.

Sober music = Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson duets, post-1970s Elton John, John Mayer, Sam Roberts, most emo bands, Creed, etc.

Which would YOU rather listen to?

    /sarcasm off

Wu-Tang Forever came out before the end of the first solo albums, therefore it is chronologically in the first round of albums although it is of course the second group album.

And RZA said he wasn't happy when they did Forever because they were all coming in high as fuck and recording whatever random shit they were each feeling rather than making the opera-type album he wanted.

prove that. I read the whole Wu Manual and didnt see that anywhere. and I read the whole Obfcl article where Deck clearly states that RZA doesnt get high when making beats. He only saw him do it on one song.

I read that too, but I don't know if I can believe it really. I just took it as a given that they all smoked mad weed.

I think Ghost stopped doing shit sometime around SC. In the booklet inside he's got a fat blunt, but I read that he was in the hospital at some point during that time and stopped doing everything. I don't know of he does anything now.

Ghostface Killah is a diabetic. Would smoking weed and other drugs be even MORE dangerous to him compared to a non-diabetic person?

He was a crack head for a long time. He admitted it himself in Tales of a Fallen Soldier or whatever the movie is called. I have it in my room right now.
