    Default THQ Announce Next-Gen Titles

Following THQ's quarterly conference call over the weekend, the internet has been rife with speculation that a number of well established franchises could be headed into the next-gen.

Top of the list is Sci-fi FPS Red Faction. Following THQ CEO Brian Farrell commenting to analysts that, "Our fiscal 2008 growth will be driven primarily by increased sales of proven owned intellectual properties, a cornerstone of our strategy." he went on to state that; "THQ has established six owned franchises which have reached the million-unit mark."

When pressed as to the identity of these aforementioned franchises, he announced them as Saints Row, Stuntman, Juiced, Destroy All Humans!, MX, and his personal favourite, Red Faction. Whilst this is far from confirmation that Red Faction, amongst others, still figure in the companies thinking going into the new year.

One title that has been confirmed to arrive on Microsoft's machine is a new WWE game, due for release within the next fiscal year.

    I just noticed something...

Outside of Red Faction and maybe Destroy All Humans. Most of THQ's franchises are wack.

Is this an old thread, or have we gone back in time?

In video game world, Captain N can take us anywhere.

Wasn't Destroy All Humans 2 badly received?

Destroy All Humans was cool when it first came out, it got really old though
