i still think dwight howard shouldve been in the dunk contest finals... any of yall see his sticker dunk?? first time i seen that done

i saw that, one of the rare times i actually watch basketball. it was an original dunk a nice idea and got attention from the crowd. he should have made the final but i think they got a thing against big players in the dunk contest.

the all-star game was very good, a bit too showbiz for my likes. thats the main reason which keeps me away from basketball. but seeing players like kobe and lebron show there talent and the dunks they can pull off are amazing. be nice to the same sort of all-star game for soccer to, but i think soccer players are too lazy to even turn up for such an event.

and to replace the slam dunk contest probably a free-kick or some type of constant to score the most aesthetic goals. but i dont think soccer is a sport that can have this sort of game because to watch it would be boring as the players wouldnt even bother to run let alone score goals and show their skills.

yeah the all-star game is all about showboating and glitz...i love it. its just like a glorified pickup game...usually the competition picks up in the 2nd half because both sides want to win, but it doesnt really matter. its just a chance for the players to forget about the seriousness of the long season and just ball it up. and you get to see guys like kobe vince and lebron totally unleashed. i didnt realize amare had so many points but kobe still deserved it. he ran things and did more than just score points. but i have to say gilbert gave me two of my favorite moments of the weekend...one when he was telling vince how he was going to cross up kobe then he started making karate sounds like "waSHASHAW, WHICH-OWW" hahaha...and then when those elvis impersonators were jumping off the springs to do crazy dunks in a line during a break in the 4th quarter and all of a sudden you see gilbert flying through the air off one of the springs and dunking it. that was classic...i was laughing about that today. dunk contest was live too. its amazing to see nate robinson get up, but gerald green was out of this world. and dwight howard's sticker dunk was really awesome.

best all star game i have seen was i think in 2001 when AI got MVP and the east rallyed back in the 4th to win. Starbury hit those two big threes at the end of the game. Motumbo got like 25 boards. That game was the shit.

D-Wade and Kapano were the shit.. they were All-Star weekend, along with Dwight Howard sticking up stickers, and that shit just rocked the house when Kapano was sinking 1 after another in the finals. I was going nuts like a regular game because my boy deserved to be there and owned the competition. Tying record in the finals with 24. Yezzir.
