    At the end of the day though , the best that there has ever been thus far is Hendrix. There many that are great or were but nobody will ever be at one with the instrument like that man was. I give SRV his due for tryin to give Hedrix his due. That was tight.

    Nice thread, and good thing that yall mentioned plenty of em great solo guitarists... But to me the greatest is Jimi and only him. I think nobody expressed themself so much as Hendrix did through an electric guitar.. props!

    Those are the 4 who I think get the best sound form a guitar, it doesnt really matter how technically good you are, its who plays it with the most feeling and timing
