both lansing and wisconsin getting exposed this week. lansing might be good enough to win this horrid conference this year only to get their face caved in once they go to a BCS game. i knew wisconsin was weak and they've shown it the last 2 weeks.

When Meatchicken has to finally play actual football teams. Denard looks great against central michigan, purdue and indiana.
Wisconsin is a good team, they lost two heartbreakers on the road. They destroyed Nebraska.

what we have here is a meatchicken fan that is bracing himself for the inevitable collapse. He wants to get excited about this 7-1 start but he knows its as fragile as its running back that plays quarterback.

Please. Even when Michistank was semi-decent, they still got their asses handed to them by Thee OSU and got bounced in bowls.
Even when you were beating us in the 90's it was 9-3 and 8-4 teams with one CO-champ when college ball was seriously fucked up.

scUM will get better, but right now you need to keep your mouths shut because your the main reason this conference fell off the past few years.
Wisconsin and MSU just stepped in. Its not like scUM was going to any BCS bowls or winning multiple conference titles. LOL.
you've been the champ of the lil'10 for the past decade, good for you. you didnt do much better in bowl games and non-conference games. back to back curb stomps in NC games, owned by USC, one of them was at home against a true freshmen QB playing hurt. hell, USC made the lil'10 its doormat. all these teams are good as long as they dont step outside the lil'10.
yeah the pinkeyes couldnt beat 8-4 michigan teams even when they had superior talent. how does that make you look?
and how exactly is an entire conference weak because of one team? florida is mediocre now and yet the SEC keeps on trucking. the lil'10/big2 has been michigan/OSU for the last 50 years, which basically goes to what i've been saying about this conference being weak. neither team has been dominant outside of the conference this past decade.

You left out the 2002 national championship team that beat, what people than called possibley the greatest talent and team ever.
Ohio State has the most BCS appearances of any school since its inception. Including 3 Fiesta, 1 Rose and 1 Sugar Bowl win.
Recently the Buckeyes have been owning the conference but it was only 5 years ago that Ohio State and Michigan were ranked 1 and 2.
The conference weakened when Michigan and Penn State both fell way off.
Ohio State kept the Big Ten relevent when that happened.
The SEC is the best conference because of their depth. But alot of that is also because of the lowered academic standards down south which allows alot of these guys on campus that otherwise would make it.
And i'm not saying the Big Ten is the Ivy League, but compared to the SEC, academically, they are.
Its also why teams like Notre Dame and Stanford, with their higher standards, will never be consistent contenders again.
yeah you beat miami in 3OT. you were talking like you dominated when you went outside the lil10. michigan won the conference title in 2000, 2003, and 2004, so its not like we never won after 1999, but we havent had the most success.
again, those 1 and 2 teams got burned at the steak in their bowl games. those pete carrol USC teams reeked havoc on the big2.
the lil10 is still the second best conference in college football, but its more by default. the pac 1+0 has been USC and nobody else for a long time, the ACC and big east arent even worth mentioning, and the big 12 has dissolved. big2 is a VERY distant 2nd to the SEC.
all bigtime programs(including michigan) relax their academic requirements for collegiate athletes in major sports. no secret there. the majority of the blue chip players that go to these schools wouldnt qualify for enrollment if they werent playing major sports for that school.

we were considered two touchdown underdogs....we beat them up in the trenches and got a record number of players drafted later than year in April.
This isnt about bowl games anyway or even the big ten.
