My brother works at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, and they frequently have rap and hip hop artists performing there. My brother does the djing for some of the nights and RJD2 was there one night when my brother was djing. I dont know if youve heard this song or not, but it was RJD2's beat from Saliva off of the Vaudeville Villian album, and Nas singin It Ain't Hard To Tell off the Illmatic, MF Doom created that bad boy on one of those special herbs and spices mixtapes. So my brother was playing it and he looked down at the stage and RJD2 was checkin his needles before his set and he heard the song and started lookin around for the dj. couple minutes later he pops in the dj booth and is like

RJD2: Hey, what is this?
My Bro: Its Nas It Aint Hard To Tell over your beat from Saliva.
R(angrily): I know that. Did you do it?
Bro: No it was MF Doom.

then like out of a scene from a movie RJ raises his fist in the air and says "Dooom" and walks out

heh, maybe you have to know my brother to think its funny, but i thought it was pretty cool.

the song is pretty good, and the moral i dno, but i hope next time someone is performing there he lets me know cuz ghostface has performed there and 7l and esoterik do occaisonally. he said he would let me know next time a hip hop artist is performin that he thinks ill like. that reminds me of another time, when ghostface was performin there, my brother was playin a lot of wu-tang to warm people up for ghostface's set, and GF told someone that the dj was playin too much wu. i guess it was because he didnt want my bro to play somethin that he was gonna do live, but thats pretty cool bein told by GF that your playin too much wu heh. little ironic or something.
