I been spinning this disc the most lately. It took me long enough to get it though. The whole CD is fire if you ask me. Rugged Man and Ras Kass had some of the best verses ever on this joint.

    I had to do a re-review.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

Im still bumping this and Razahs' Ladder alot, both albums have serious replayability. Hell Razah has grown alot in my eyes, he's gone way past killa bee status with me.

Renaissance Child dropped eleven years ago today, one of the crown jewels of 2000's era Wu Tang.
