Oh yeah I got those tracks, the entire Xx album is so smooth and easy to listen to, I really can't get into Dirty Projecters though. Do Bat For Lashes have a bunch of good stuff? thats the only song by them that I have.

Yeah the XX album flows effortlessly, every track is good.

Yeah dirty p's is an aquired taste for sure, not for everyone.

Bat for lashes are amazing, the chick is uber hot and her voice is so smooth and delicious, Two suns is up their with my fav indie alumbs of last year next to merriweather post pavillion and veckatimest.

I like indie, but not the newer pretentious pitchfork shit. I like older stuff like sebadoh, superchunk and pavement. thats where its at.

Pitchfork is a great source of music, but it's not the only one obviously.

I just downloaded the Mount Eerie album Lost Wisdom, man this is some interesting stuff I'm half way through and will be thoroughly impressed if the record manages to keep me grasped for its entirety.

Heres some indy-folk randoms, had the chance to see Timber Timbre live at the Black Sheep Inn (renowned indie venue) and his show was spectacular

    Timber Timbre

    Patrick Watson

    The Tallest Man on Earth

    Great Lake Swimmers

ps. Canadians make the best indie music.

Dude Lost Wisdom is a beautiful album most tracks are short like 1:57 2:13 and shit, Lost Wisdom itself is 3 minutes long so it shoulden't be a long album to get through.

Some beautiful introspective stuff, plus its all live sessions in the studio which kinda gives it a authentic feel.
