--- Troubled former NFL receiver Titus Young arrested again


A day before former Lions receiver Titus Young was to appear in court for a hearing regarding four felony counts, he got arrested for another felony.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Young was arrested on July 9 and charged with battery with serious bodily injury and was being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. He was also charged with four misdemeanor counts of battery of school, park or hospital property. Bail was set at $105,000, the Free Press said.

The Los Angeles sheriff's department wouldn't give the Free Press details of the arrest.

Young's promising NFL career fell apart due to him acting out within the team, such as purposely lining up in the wrong place, and getting in trouble off the field. He was arrested three times in one week during May of 2013 on DUI charges, felony burglary and assaulting a police officer, and was facing 11 charges in all. That trial was delayed while Young got treatment. He was scheduled to make an appearance for a pretrial hearing on those counts.

Now Young faces even more legal troubles, as his sad story continues to get worse.

Hulk Hogan says he HATES his daughter's ex-fiance -- former Dallas Cowboys lineman Phil Costa -- and claims he ALMOST had to kick his ass after a explosive run-in during the engagement.

The Hulkster went on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas to talk football -- and after praising the Cowboys, the WWE legend put Costa on blast ... and took credit for ending his engagement to Brooke.

"There's no way my daughter's gonna marry somebody that I don't like ... that got me mad ... or that got in my face."

Unclear why Hogan and Costa nearly came to blows -- but Hogan says the guy backed down because the 6'3" 303-pounder knew "he'd have gotten slammed just like Andre the Giant."

Brooke and Phil broke up back in November -- after dating for several months.

The Orlando Predators have knocked the Pittsburgh Power Football out of the playoffs with a close 56-48 win. The Predators recovered an onside kick after the go-ahead touchdown with a minute left to seal the victory. The Predators will play the Cleveland Gladiators: AF1 next Sunday in the American League Conference Championship game.

wow…greedy bastards! this league is a for profit business running under the guise of a non-profit organization since the 1960's. Not just asking artists to pay to have the right to perform, but a percentage of their post-Superbowl tour.

Musicians typically don't get paid for playing at the NFL's Super Bowl halftime show. Having 115.3 million people watch your performance is payment enough, really. But this year the NFL is using the big game's unrivaled power of exposure to its advantage — or at least trying to, according to The Wall Street Journal. The league has apparently whittled its list of potential acts down to three: Coldplay, Rihanna, and Katy Perry. But when approaching representatives for each artist with the good news, the NFL reportedly made an unprecedented request. It's asked three of pop music's most popular performers whether they'd "willing to contribute a portion of their post-Super Bowl tour income to the league, or if they would make some other type of financial contribution" to headline the 2015 halftime show.
