I'm not mad the Patriots won because I picked them. I was happy for Bill Belicheck because he used to coach my hometown team Cleveland Browns. He never got them to the playoffs hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

-Former nfl player Will Allen sentenced to six years in jail for ponzi scheme

Allen, a cornerback, played 140 NFL games with the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins from 2001-11. He was the Giants’ first-round pick in 2001. Allen was charged with fraud in 2015. In this Ponzi scheme, Allen and Daub convinced investors to fund loans to professional athletes, but the loans were bogus or oversubscribed and they used the money for personal expenses and other business ventures, Law360 said.

Amaral said some in the courtroom were stunned at the sentences of six years in prison, and he reported that even the U.S. attorney’s office seemed surprised. The scheme cost investors about $17 million, Law360 said.

“This was a huge fraud,” U.S. District Judge William Young said, according to Law360.

Law360 said Allen used some of the proceeds for home improvements to his mansion, and used investors’ money at casinos and cigar stores. Allen and Daub were ordered to pay about $17 million in restitution combined, Amaral reported.

The two were not allowed to self-report to prison and were taken away by marshals, “both in tears,” the Law360 story said.

Tomy Romo was released from the Cowboys and Jay Culter was released from the Bears. Two greats let go. What is going on?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Yeah right. The Browns will always be terrible but that's alright. I'm a Browns fan and I don't care if they don't win championships. I got a picture of the Browns logo on my Facebook page. I think the Browns are gonna draft that black man quarterback from Clemson university. What's his name? I saw a picture of him and rapper Willie D on Willie D's Facebook page. I see the Browns got rid of Robert Griffin. I heard the Giants got Geno Smith LOL. Brandon Marshall went to the Giants. I wonder why Martellus Bennett left the Patriots to go to Green Bay. That was a dumb move considering the Patriots just won the super bowl LOL.

Default Marshawn Lynch traded to Raiders

Lynch and the Raiders have an agreement for a two-year contract in place, according to league sources, and he is at Oakland's training facility Wednesday to take a physical. Assuming he passes, the Raiders and Seahawks are expected to finalize the swap that would send Lynch to his hometown of Oakland.

It looks like Jay Cutler retired. I thought it would have had a lot of prospects.

Antonio Cromartie's wife pregnant with his 14th child

Cromartie and his wife Terricka are having another baby even after the NFL cornerback had a vasectomy a couple years ago. It’s believed to be Cromartie’s fourth child after his vasectomy. Cromartie became well known for having so many children, especially after a “Hard Knocks” segment in which he was trying to name them all.
